Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is confident Javi Garcia will prove his class.
The Spaniard struggled in their draw with Arsenal on Sunday.
Mancini said: "Javi Garcia, Maicon and Nastasic all need time. Benfica has a top squad, they win every game. Here it's tough, every game is difficult."
