Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini insists his striker signings will prove their worth.
Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli arrived for huge money last season, but failed to catch fire.
Mancini told the Daily Mail: "I am sure they will because Dzeko improved a lot in the last two months last year and Mario was the same.
"After a year in the Premier League they will improve a lot because they are good players."
