Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini was delighted with their thumping of Inter Milan in Dublin yesterday.
Goals from Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko and Adam Johnson sealed the 3-0 win.
"It has been a good weekend but I hope next weekend is too," Mancini said with one eye on the Community Shield clash against Manchester United.
"Two games in two days is very difficult but most of the players got some more time on the pitch and that is important."
On goal scorer Balotelli, Mancini also told City's website: "I just want him to concentrate more and I want the whole team to do that. They have to do because this year will be difficult because we have to improve on last year which was very good."
