Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is desperate to pitch Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez together.

Mancini is looking forward to seeing them resume a partnership which promised much during pre-season.

Mancini said: "It is right that they have not been able to play together much. I do think they can play together and they are both Argentinian. This is why I was upset when we lost Aguero for four games.

"It was important to have his qualities at the start of the season - he's so quick and strong in the box."
