Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini insists he's in the dark over Villarreal accusations that Sergio Aguero played up last month.

Mancini is hopeful the ugly scenes that saw Villarreal players and officials label Aguero an ungracious victor following his late winner will not be allowed to affect tonight's proceedings.

"No, I don't think anything happened," said Mancini.

"Sergio didn't do anything. If he plays he will be OK. He is experienced."
