Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has held talks with the agent of Mario Balotelli.
The Daily Star says Mancini sought to defuse a situation in which Mino Raiola had claimed Balotelli was being victimised in England.
The agent said he could look for a new club for City's 12-goal striker if what he saw as unfair treatment for his client continued.
Balotelli missed the third game of his suspension last night when City played Fulham at the Etihad Stadium.
The last game of the ban is at Aston Villa next Sunday.
