Man City boss Hughes accepts board's Kaka demand

Manchester City are ready to make a huge offer for AC Milan ace Kaka in the summer. The Mail on Sunday says City have earmarked Brazilian superstar Kaka as their £50million marquee signing for next summer.

City boss Mark Hughes has accepted the Abu Dhabi United Group's need to sign one superstar a season and feels the AC Milan forward possesses the physical capabilities to thrive in the Premier League.

Hughes held talks with the club's new owners and told them it would be better to wait until the end of the season to make their key signings, despite money being available in January.

Kaka is believed to be open to the idea of joining the Samba craze that is sweeping the north-west, and AC Milan, who are not in the Champions League this season, will not be able to afford to turn down City's millions.
