Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says winning the Club World Cup has reinforced their team spirit.
City return to the Premier League tonight against Everton.
Guardiola said: “Never at the start of the season when we arrive do we think how many titles we will win. It's a horrible approach.
“The approach is recovery, and Goodison Park. Further than that, nothing exists.
“These days [at the FIFA Club World Cup] were really good because we created an incredible team building and spirit.
“Kyle [Walker] drove us and guided us and all the backroom staff were all together, played games together and talked together. We recovered.
“It was really good days, and to perform in those conditions, the humidity, hot, the pitch conditions, we behaved really, really well."
