Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola intervened to calm down Kyle Walker on Monday night.
The club captain was involved in an altercation with Neal Maupay of Brentford in their Premier League clash.
City, who trailed in the game but emerged with a 3-1 win, were fortunate not to have Walker receive a red card during one stage of the game.
Walker had a discussion with the referee during the last ten minutes of the game, after his altercation with Maupay.
Then his manager Guardiola had to step in and ensure that Walker remained calm.
Post-game, Guardiola defended his captain, stating on the incident: “Nothing. next question."
