Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola isn't giving up on Leroy Sane staying with the club.

Guardiola has confirmed Sane is back in training with City after fully recovering from knee surgery. The Germany attacker, however, remains a target for Bayern Munich.

Asked about Sane's situation, Guardiola stated: "Unfortunately, I have no news on this issue. I would like to tell you, but… You may ask (sports director) Txiki Begiristain.

"The latest information I received is that we gave him an offer a long time ago and during all this time he has not rejected it. Beyond that, I have no news."

Sane's current deal with City runs to 2021.
