Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is ready to lock horns with Barcelona coach Xavi.

Guardiola is coming back to Camp Nou for the charity friendly clash between Barcelona and City on August 24. The game is to raise money for the fight against ELA.

"Xavi and I have known each other a long time," said Pep in a press conference for the game's announcement on Monday.

“He's been a team-mate and later I coached him. I will always be grateful for how he helped me on the pitch. His career speaks for itself. The club can get back to where it was.

"I am delighted we will meet again."
