Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is open to signing free agent Daniel Alves.
The Brazilian right-back is a free agent after leaving Paris Saint Germain and snubbed a move to the Etihad two years ago.
Guardiola said: “All the important clubs in the world know his situation and the incredible player he is.
“He's an extraordinary person too but now we have two incredible full backs."
Guardiola has signed Rodri and Angelino this summer and would ideally like a centre half to replace Vincent Kompany.
