Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is delighted with the form of Rodri in preseason.

Guardiola paid tribute to another impressive display from Rodri as City rounded off a successful Asia Tour with a fine 3-1 win over Yokohama F Marinos.

"Yeah. Kevin (De Bruyne) made another great game but Rodri was incredible the way he played," said Guardiola.

“I can assure you we have an incredible holding midfielder for the years he is here.

“Bernardo is now back at his normal level, Sterling continued. Stones and Ayemric...these guys played incredibly well in the game today."
