Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on Benjamin Mendy after his performance against Fulham.
The Frenchman thrived as a wing-back in a 3-5-2 formation as City cruised to a 3-0 victory in west London.
"Really well – really well," said Guardiola when asked about the defender's training ground performance.
"[He is] happy in the locker room. Benjamin is an exceptional human being.
"He has specific qualities and we played with wing backs. It was perfect for his quality, but he showed attention, aggression, he didn't lose balls and in the final third his crosses were brilliant.
"[I am] satisfied with his performance."
