Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has confirmed Andreas Isaksson and Georgios Samaras can leave Eastlands.

After victory over West Ham last night, Eriksson said: "So far there have been a lot of rumours but that is it.

"We have some players who, if they ask to leave, we will accept it.

"I understand that players who are in or close to the international team are not going to be happy just sitting on the bench because they will probably lose that chance to appear for their country."
