Man City boss Eriksson: No problems with Isaksson

Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson insists goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson has maintained his professionalism while he is overlooked for first team duty.

Eriksson said of his fellow countryman: "If he wants to go, we said okay. If he wants to go I understand it absolutely, it's totally up to him."

Rumours have speculated about a possible move to Galatasaray in Turkey since Sven's pre-Christmas decision to hand Joe Hart the number one spot.

But the Manager added of his 26-year-old stopper: "Andreas is extremely professional, he didn't like my decision of course, that's understandable and he's disappointed.

"But there has not been one bad word, he's working as hard as the others and doing fantastic training.

"I've heard a lot of rumours from different countries, but so far there has been not one word to the Club or me.

"I spoke to Andreas on Thursday and asked him if he had a club and he said 'no'."
