Manchester City are ready to offer £25 million for Bordeaux midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.
L'Equipe says Gourcuff has become disillusioned with life in Ligue 1 and is being tracked by Blues boss Roberto Mancini.
The midfielder orchestrated Bordeaux's march to the French league title last season, but has fallen short this term, and with Laurent Blanc's departure from the hot seat of les Girondins, it seems that the former AC Milan player is set to follow.
However, if Cesc Fabregas' anticipated move to Barcelona goes through, Arsene Wenger may be tempted to step in with a last minute bid, as Gourcuff is seen as a direct replacement for the Arsenal captain.
