West Ham United have reportedly identified Manchester City's Wilfried Bony and Liverpool's Christian Benteke as potential recruits this summer.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi is Slaven Bilic's top transfer target, with Bony and Benteke among contingency plans should the Hammers fail to secure the services of the Belgian.
It is understood Batshuayi is also being chased by Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus and may also consider extending his stay at the Stade Velodrome rather than making the switch to the Premier League.
Bilic is believed to have been given a budget in the vicinity of £20million to secure a top-line striker this off-season.
