Man City and Chelsea stars sent off as Serbia struggles continue

Serbia finished the game with nine men as they lost 2-1 to Portugal in Euro2016 qualifying on Sunday.

Nani opened the scoring for Portugal in the fifth minute before Zoran Tosic responded for the already-eliminated Serbians an hour later.

Joao Moutinho came off the bench to score the eventual winner for a makeshift Portuguese side with just over 10 minutes remaining before Aleksandar Kolarov and Nemanja Matic were both sent off for the home side in Belgrade.

In quick succession, the Manchester City and Chelsea stars saw red for lashing out at opponents in a fiery meeting at the FK Partizan Stadium.

The loss saw Serbia finish in fourth position on the five-team Group I table with just four points while Portugal ended up on top having won seven of their eight fixtures.
