Manchester City have agreed a fee with Sporting CP to sign winger Correia.

The Citizens are keen to add the youngster to their under-21 side.

The Portugal under-19 international is close to agreeing on a contract as the two clubs thrash out a €3.5 millionnfee.

The news comes from Goal.com, who reveal the 18-year-old winger will be a City player before the transfer window closes for Premier League clubs on Thursday.

Correia was a star for the Portugal under-19 side at the European Championships.

While he has not played competitive football at the senior level, he is rated highly enough for City to want to sign him.
