Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is the only Premier League player to make the final shortlist for the BBC African Footballer of the Year award.
Ivory Coast ace Toure is joined on the five-man nominations list by Nigeria's Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, Porto's Algerian midfielder Yacine Brahimi, AS Roma and Ivory Coast winger Gervinho and Borussia Dortmund's Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Toure won the award last year.
