Manchester City ace David Silva has welcomed praise from Spain coach Vicente del Bosque.

Del Bosque has likened Silva to Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

"It is flattering that Del Bosque compares me with Messi," said Silva. "This helps me to work and continue to work on my style of play for the national team. I want to add my contribution to help build the Roja."
