David Silva is calm about his status at Manchester City.

Silva has hinted that contract talks would only be opened at City's insistence. A starring role at Euro 2012 and major interest from Real Madrid have just accelerated the process.

"I've got two years left on my contract and I've always said I'll be happy to stay here," he said in May. "I'm not thinking of an extension at the moment."
