Sergio Aguero hopes Frank Lampard agrees to stay with Manchester City for the remainder of the season.
Lampard, on-loan from New York City FC, has been superb for City in recent weeks, making significant contributions at home and in the Champions League.
"He has been very important for us, he is already a key player," said Aguero.
"Whether he is in the starting line-up or comes on in the second half: he plays a decisive role in almost every game in which he participates."
Aguero adds: "If he stays, that would be fantastic, he is a Premier League legend. And it's great to play with him, I can always say I've played with Frank Lampard."
