Bolton Wanderers have had a bid for Shaun Wright-Phillips accepted by Manchester City.
The Bolton News says a transfer fee was agreed between the two clubs for the England international yesterday - believed to be around £4million - which paved the way for Owen Coyle to open talks with the player. .
He has expressed a desire to remain at the club but with reports of Roberto Mancini's interest in Tottenham's Aaron Lennon gaining momentum, he is willing to hear Wanderers out.
Wigan and Sunderland are also in the frame but Coyle is likely to get first crack at convincing the player to leave for pastures new.
