Full-back Lauren is reportedly set to quit Portsmouth in January and return to his former club Real Mallorca in Spain's Primera Liga.
The Cameroon international right-back has struggled for first-team action this term, with just three appearances to his credit, due to ongoing injury problems.
As a result the former Arsenal man, who Arsene Wenger paid £7.2million to Mallorca for his signature in 2000, could be on his way back to the Spanish outfit in January.
Since joining the club for £500,000 in the January transfer window last year the 30-year-old has made just 14 starts in all competitions and a recent experiment of playing him in right midfield failed to work.
