Former AC Milan coach Cesare Maldini is shocked by the sale of Thiago Silva to PSG.
The Brazilian's teammate, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is also expected to follow him to PSG this week.
Maldini told TMW: "For many years (Silvio) Berlusconi has always tried to strengthen the team by purchasing high-level players. However, in recent years this aspect seems to have changed.
"I can share in a sense, the sale of Ibrahimovic, as he's almost 31 years old, but I do not understand the choice of giving up Thiago Silva.
"The Brazilian is young and has more time to continue to improve. He had been appointed captain for the future, now we must find new solutions in this area."
