Paolo Maldini will not make the trip to Fratton Park to take on Portsmouth in the UEFA Cup.

Along with Maldini, Marek Jankulovski will miss but Massimo Ambrosini and Philippe Senderos are included in the squad.

Brazilian star Kaka is also likely to play after being suspended for Saturday's Serie A match which means he will not need to be rested midweek.
