Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino believes that the friendly fixture against Malaysia XI was a great experience for the north London club.
The Argentine further mentioned that the contest in Kuala Lumpur, which Spurs won 2-1 thanks to a brace from Harry Kane, was a good opportunity for the less experienced players in his squad.
"It was a difficult game," said Pochettino.
"The conditions were tough, it's not easy to play in this weather, very hot, very humid on the pitch, the players were also a little tired after the travelling but I think we're happy.
"We've done some good things, the young players did well and it was a great experience for us.
"It's been a good opportunity for the youngsters to play and train with the first team and that's important because they are the future of the club."
