Malaga are eyeing West Ham United striker Mauro Zarate.
The London Evening Standard says Malaga are hoping to tempt West Ham into allowing striker Mauro Zarate to join them on loan in January.
The Spanish club are looking to bolster their weakened attack following long-term injuries to Nordin Amrabat and Juanmi. It has left them with just Roque Santa Cruz and Ezequiel Rescaldani up front.
Zarate has started just four games due to the form of Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho and now has a fit-again Andy Carroll to also compete with for a first team spot.
