Big-spending Malaga are hatching an ambitious plan to bring Schalke striker Raul back to Spain. The Real Madrid legend is available from Schalke and has also been linked with Roberto Carlos' Anzhi.
Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini and new sports chief Fernando Hierro both have ties with Real and are keen to bring Raul back home.
Backed by businessman Sheik Al Thani, Malaga have been one of Europe's biggest spenders this summer.
