Jamie Mackie is confident of a future at QPR.
QPR have been linked with January transfers to replace crocked striker Andy Johnson, who could miss the rest of the season with knee ligament damage.
But utility man Mackie believes he can keep out any potential signings with a glut of goals.
He added: "I'm very confident in what I bring the table and obviously the manager is as well," he told the Sunday Mirror.
"AJ is a top man as well as a player and someone I was looking forward to learning from, so I'm gutted for him.
"It won't be just me looking to capitalise on the opportunity we have. Hopefully I will get the nod to play up front."
