FSV Mainz have reportedly dropped their interest in Australian winger Robbie Kruse.
Kicker recently reported that Mainz were keen on a season-long loan for the 25-year old Bayer Leverkusen forward but Bild has since suggested that Die Nullfunfer have gone cold on the idea.
Former Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory star Kruse joined Leverkusen from Fortuna Dusseldorf prior to last season but has been sidelined since December with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
