AS Roma fullback Douglas Maicon feels teammates Francesco Totti and Morgan de Sanctis should go to the World Cup with Italy.
Despite their ages, the Brazilian full-back has claimed that the pair have to get a call-up from Cesare Prandelli.
"For me, age doesn't matter," he told reporters. "Totti has never ceased to show his quality as a player.
"He is as important as ever for Roma.
"And the same goes for De Sanctis - I think they both deserve to go to the World Cup."
