Magical Leicester have to keep feet on the ground - Ranieri

Claudio Ranieri admits Leicester City are in dreamland after continuing their brilliant run of form on Monday night.

The Foxes accounted for reigning champions Chelsea 2-1 at King Power Stadium to return to the top of the Premier League table in what has been a dizzying beginning to the campaign.

In the wake of their 10th victory of the season, Ranieri spoke of the dream he is living as Leicester boss but highlighted the importance of not getting too carried away as they strive to simply avoid relegation despite sitting pretty at the summit.

"There was a lot of electricity tonight, without that we are a normal team but with the fans pushing us we are very happy.

"They continue to dream but we must continue to keep our feet on the ground.

"I told my players, five more points and we are safe. I think like this I put that target at the beginning of the season, when we achieve 40 points, we will change our goal.

"It's magical time we must continue to work hard because I don't want to wake up, I want to continue to dream with our fans."

Jamie Vardy scored his 15th goal of the season and Riyad Mahrez his 11th as the East Midlands outfit saw off a late challenge from Chelsea who responded through substitute Loic Remy in the 77th minute.
