On-loan Birmingham City striker Federico Macheda admits his future is likely to be away from parent club Manchester United. The Italian has spent much of his career being loaned out from last season's Premier League champions, but says he still wants to play in England, even if not for the Red Devils.
"In Birmingham things are going quite well, I'm scoring regularly," the 22 year old, who is out of contract in the summer, told calciomercato.it.
"My future? It's moving something important.
"I'd like to remain in England because I have grown up here with football.
"I think I won't return to Manchester regardless of the new coach."
