Olympique Lyon have confirmed they attempted to sign Roma winger Amantino Mancini.

"£10m is a fair assessment of Mancini's worth, but Roma told us he is not for sale and so the talks did not reach a conclusion," a Lyon representative told Sky Italia television yesterday.
