Saint Etienne and Lyon are both chasing Leicester City striker Islam Slimani.

Currently part of the Foxes squad, Slimani is available from Leicester next month.

Le 10 Sport says ASSE's former Leicester boss Claude Puel remains keen on a reunion with the Algeria international - but isn't alone.

Also keen are Lyon, where they see Slimani as potential cover for Memphis Depay and Mousse Dembele.

Both OL attackers are being linked with moves away in January.
