Bruno Genesio has played down suggestions that Olympique Lyon are chasing Chelsea's Loic Remy.

Reports this week have suggested that the French club are keen on a loan deal for the 29-year-old striker who started his career with Lyon back in 2006.

Rely was spotted in Lyon earlier this week but Genesio has said that he nows nothing of the club's desire to lure Remy to the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

He said of Lyon's reported pursuit: "Loïc Rémy? I am not aware of it.

"I do not know if it is rubbish or not."

Apart from Lyon, Remy is also being linked with Everton, Crystal Palace, Villarreal, Besiktas and Galatasaray.
