Luton boss Rob Edwards was delighted with Ross Barkley's performance against Manchester United on Sunday.

Barkley shone in the 2-1 defeat at home.

Asked if the midfielder deserves an England recall, Edwards said: "I can only talk about what he does for Luton, but here he has been fantastic and we love him.

"His performances have been sensational and I think he showed a lot of courage today.

"His work effort was top notch."
