Luton boss Rob Edwards is happy leaving John McAtee on-loan at Barnsley.
The striker's form has attracted interest from Sunderland and Ipswich in the Championship.
But Edwards said: “Macca's done great and the window's still open at the moment, but the way, we, I, he sees it, is he's in a really good place. He's getting well looked after and performing well and is a big part of what Barnsley are doing, so we're very comfortable with his situation.
“It shows he's doing well and he is doing well. He's scored some magnificent goals, assists, his work-rate is incredible, he's become an important part of their team."
Signed 18 months ago from Grimsby Town, McAtee is yet to play for the Hatters.
