Premier League newcomers Luton Town are getting closer to signing a new shot stopper.
The Hatters are said to have agreed on a £750,000 fee with Birmingham City for goalkeeper John Ruddy.
The veteran 36-year-old has ample Premier League experience, which Luton value immensely.
All that remains is for Birmingham to secure a new goalkeeper, which will lead to Ruddy moving to Luton.
The shot stopper was training with City on Monday, but is aware that his move is now close.
Luton are hoping to complete other moves before the Premier League begins at the weekend.
