Lustig eager to extend Celtic's unbeaten streak

Mikael Lustig is hoping Celtic can continue their undefeated spell when they tackle Motherwell this weekend.

The Hoops are yet to be beaten in 13 Scottish Premier League outings this season, taking their overall unbeaten league run to 16 games from last term, and the Swedish defender is looking for yet another winning result at Fir Park on Friday.

"It's always a good crowd away to Motherwell because there are a lot of local Celtic supporters who fill the away end," he told the club's official website.

"It's going to be a good atmosphere so hopefully we can play well and extend our unbeaten run.

"Domestically we have done really well this season, and it's only been the Morton game (in the League Cup in September) where we let ourselves down. We didn't go through in the League Cup but in the Premiership, and now the Scottish Cup too we've been doing really well."
