Luke Ayling believes Leeds United learnt a good lesson from Monday's loss to Wolves.
The Whites were downed thanks to a second-half strike from Raul Jimenez.
Marcelo Bielsa's side dominated the first-half but could not go ahead of the scoreboard.
"I think we're still learning, we're only five games into a new season and I think we've learnt we need to take our chances when they come along," said Ayling.
"I thought we had some good chances and they've probably had two really good chances and taken one of them.
"We started well, we got in down the sides a lot and they changed their shape a bit and changed things around a bit and caused us a few problems in the second half.
"I think we started slow in the second half and you can't afford to do in the Premier League and we got punished.
"You never like losing a goal like that, it was a bit of a nothing shot from the edge of the box which the goalkeeper would have probably saved and it takes a big deflection, but that is football and these things can happen."
