Lukaku boys are ‘gifts from God’ says proud mum

Adolphine Bolingoli-Lukaku cut an extremely proud figure after watching her sons guide Belgium to a 3-2 win over Norway on Sunday.

Everton striker Romelu scored the opening goal in the third minute while younger brother Jordan, of KV Oostende, starting at left-back at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels as the Rode Duivels won their final tune-up match ahead of Euro2016.

A reporter from HLN.be caught up with Mrs Lukaku and got her views on both of her sons starting for Belgium as well as the team's chances at this summer's Euros in France.

"My sons are in very good shape, they clearly feel good about themselves with the national team," she said.

"How do I feel when I see Romelu score for his country? That fills me with joy. I'm so proud of him.

"Whether he can lead Belgium to the European Championship final? You never know...

"But I want to emphasize I am also very proud of Jordan. I'm very happy with my two sons.

"Romelu and Jordan are two gifts from God. Our family thanks God every day for their achievements. I pray a lot for my kids, you know...that they can play football well and that they stay healthy.

"What I still further, I would not say my prayers question that is too personal. But I desire that their success lasts."
