Chelsea defender David Luiz is feeling good about his future in London after talks with Jose Mourinho.
The Mirror says Barcelona turned to defender Luiz after failing with a move for his compatriot, Paris Saint-Germain's Thiago Silva, but have so far failed to come back with a second bid after an opening £35m offer was rebuffed.
Chelsea will not even entertain talks unless a bid in excess of £45m is on the table and Barca hopes that Luiz would demand a chance to leave have failed to materialise.
While it is understood the player would be willing to go to the Nou Camp if the two clubs agreed a deal, he was gratified to hear from Mourinho how much he is valued by the returning Chelsea chief.
Luiz has no intention of attempting to force through a transfer against the wishes of the Blues' hierarchy and the manager.
