Spain coach Luis Enrique is delighted Valencia defender Gabriel Paulista now has a Spanish passport.

The Brazilian secured his local papers this week, so now qualifying to be selected by Spain for next summer's Euros.

Enrique has made it no secret he's a fan, stating: "I have not talked with him.

"I know he is about to swear the Constitution. For me it is great news as a coach. Paulista's level is known to all.

"I'm delighted, the more players I have to choose the better."
