Luckless Blackburn crash at West Ham

Jason Roberts scored after 22 minutes to bring the score back to 2-1 at the break but then had the chance to equalise but Robert Green saved his penalty.

Two goals into injury time for West Ham gave the home side a flattering result.

"In the second half we were far the better side but we didn't take our chances," said Ince.

"We're disappointed because there were a lot of situations where we felt we could have scored goals.

"We came out in the second half and really took the game to them and we had a chance of an equaliser from the penalty spot but it wasn't to be.

"There were two or three situations that would have changed the course of the game but we didn't capitalise on it and they scored late goals. That just sums up how the game went."
