West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis believes that Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley will stick by John Carver.
Carver has endured a torrid time as manager of Newcastle and the current nine-match winless streak under his tutelage has moved the Magpies perilously close to the relegation zone.
Due the poor run, it is widely believed that the Newcastle hierarchy will be dispensing with the services of Carver at the end of the season.
However, Baggies boss Pulis has said that the loyalty of billionaire owner Ashley means Carver may remain put at St James' Park despite their current woes.
"I don't think there'll be any change at this football club, I think Mike Ashley is very loyal to the people he appoints and although I don't know the politics around the place, the one thing he has done is to stick with his managers," Pulis said.
