Lazio president Claudio Lotito says they're targeting European qualification for the coming season.
Lotito is battling to win back the fans' trust after organised boycotts last season.
"Our target is to build a team capable of getting back the place it deserves in Europe," Lotito said. "Today we are doing everything we can to be able to do that.
"The signing of Parolo will bring additional quality to the team, but we have already settled other deals. This is the fifth if we count the outright signing of Candreva.
"We are hoping for an exciting season. If we have the support of the fans, we will soon be back among the big teams."
